Oral-Consecutive Interpreting

Oral Interpreting

Oral interpreting is a transmission of the speaker's speech to the target audience through pauses, using the interpreter's notes. Oral interpretation, as its name implies, is the completion of a speech and then its translation into the target language by the interpreter.

Consecutive Interpreting

There are some things a translator who is doing a consecutive translation should pay attention to; first of all, he/she must make good use of his/her short-term memory and write down for himself/herself important things, such as numbers, dates and the names of places.
